A Mishap with PayPal and a Heartfelt Thank You to Country Sisters

On November 4, 2024, the long-awaited NEW CD, 50th Anniversary, finally arrived in Japan via airmail from Czechia.

As I eagerly unboxed the package, I discovered not only the CD I had purchased from the official e-Shop but also a bonus CD, Andrea Boogie Woogie Country Girl. To my delight, there were also two stickers and two photocards, along with a small envelope.

I had actually purchased this CD around September 5th. However, it turned out that the CD had been returned to sender due to an incorrect address. Although my address was correct, the recipient name, "Store Alaudae JP," was not registered, causing confusion at the local post office.

To my great embarrassment, I realized that this error was entirely my fault. I had mistakenly used my work PayPal account to make the purchase, instead of my personal one. Since the work PayPal account is associated with the recipient name "Store Alaudae JP," Country Sisters had shipped the CD correctly, but the post office rejected it due to the address mismatch.

I deeply regret my careless mistake. It was incredibly frustrating to experience such a delay in receiving the CD I had been looking forward to, and I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience I may have caused Country Sisters.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice the email from Country Sisters informing me about the address issue and the returned package. As a result, nearly two months after the initial shipment, I foolishly considered filing a claim through PayPal's buyer protection program.

Despite my blunder, Country Sisters were incredibly understanding and helpful. Thanks to their prompt actions, I was able to receive the CD without any further delay. I am truly grateful for their kindness and support.

I will learn from this experience and be more careful and accurate in my future transactions.
